Property owners in Maharashtra will be
able to examine older land records
online
Under the National Land Records Modernization Programmer, the Maharashtra government has chosen to computerize the state's land records and make them available online to residents. E-records is a significant effort being developed to scan ancient land records. Citizens can view the records of 22 districts, including the current account statement, notes, balance sheet, plan sheet, K.J.P (Kami Jasta Patrak) (Lesser Assessment Register), old income slip, inquiry register, and so on, for free at https://aapleabhilekh.mahabhumi.gov.in/erecords.
Citizens usually seek authenticated copies of ancient records pertaining to their property for a variety of reasons. As a result, the Revenue Department and Land Records Department are working together to digitally validate the scanned records of 22 districts that have already been uploaded. The records of 22 districts that have been digitally validated will be available on the website https://mahabhumi.gov.in.
The remaining records will be made available to citizens after
they are validated. Citizens are asked to take use of this service.
